Chris C Fox

Founder and CEO of StratNav

Chris has been helping organisations to develop and execute evidence-based future-oriented business strategies for over 26 years.

🚀 From Code to C-Suite: A Journey in Strategy

Chris began his career in technology—as a software engineer, business analyst, architect, team leader, and project manager—before earning his MBA in 1999. At the height of the dot-com boom, Chris realised that the biggest problems facing businesses weren’t technical, but strategic. So he pivoted, moving into business strategy where he could have broader impact.

His corporate journey took him to the C-suite, culminating in the role of Head of Group Strategy and Branding at a FTSE 100 multinational.

💡 Why He Founded StratNav

After launching his own consultancy in 2007, Chris was struck by how many organisations still relied on PowerPoint, Word and Excel to manage their strategy. He saw how this limited collaboration, transparency and impact.

Driven by a desire to improve both his own practice and the wider field of strategic management, he built StratNav —a collaborative, AI-powered platform for strategy development and execution.

“Strategy is only as good as its execution—and execution demands structure, alignment, and clarity. That’s what StratNav delivers.” — Chris C Fox
