To add an organisation, Select Governance, then Stakeholders, then Organisations from the main menu.

They can serve many purposes.

They can be:

  • Competitors
  • Partners or Suppliers
  • Customers, or
  • Other organisation.

Each organisation has a name, a type (as per the types listed above), a description and a URL. uses the URL to automatically retrieve the icon for an organisation if it has correctly identified one on its website.

For Organisations that are competitors, you can also choose whether you want to display the organisation on the Strategy Canvas. Competitors also include scores and explanations of how well they perform against the identified competitive factors.

If you click on the 'newspaper' to the immediate left of the Organisation's name, will initiative a Google News search for that organisation. You can then use the Bookmarklet feature to link any interesting news back to the Organisation in

As a type of Stakeholder, you can link Organisations to many other aspects of your strategy from Strategic Insights, to Process, Goals, Meetings, etc.
